Ex-Autonomy CEO charged with criminal fraud over disastrous $11B deal with Hewlett-Packard

The CEO of British software giant Autonomy was criminally indicted this week by federal prosecutors for allegedly lying to the public about the financial health of his company, which Palo Alto-based Hewlett-Packard bought in 2011 for $11 billion.
