New report: As home sellers lower prices further, 2019 starts as a buyer's market

The gains in home prices are shrinking, as higher mortgage rates and concern over the nation's economy weaken buyer demand. After two years of a competitive and overpriced housing market nationwide, fewer cities are now considered 'overvalued.' CoreLogic is now predicting home values will gain less than 5 percent annually in 2019.
