Wild Animals Hanging Out Captured in Poetry and Photo Collection

By: Issuewire

Fort Myers, Jan 8, 2019 (Issuewire.com) - Poet and photographer, Cheryl Batavia, share the beauty and wonder of nature in her book series, Hanging Out with Wild Animals. Always the curious traveler with an insatiable thirst for exploration, Batavia braves the state of Florida in search of the most awe-worthy creaturesfrom flamingos to alligatorsthat now fill the pages of her poetry and photo collection book.

Inspired by her own experiences, she distills the magnificence of real life through the words she writes and the images she captures. Armed with nothing but a pen and a camera, Batavia encapsulates her encounters into short but truly meaningful work.

The book also has a safety guide at the end where readers can find out how they can lend a helping hand in protecting animals and their habitats. Batavia is aware that some species of animals are in danger of losing their homes, or worse, of extinction. The book is her way of contributing to the cause.

The author hopes that her work will spark peoples interest to know more about animals and to take action when it comes to their welfare. She urges her readers to visit places where they can have close encounters with living creatures. Establishments like the local zoo, sanctuaries, and national parks are good places to start your own adventure. Batavia believes that the best way to learn about animals is to meet them first hand.

Batavia also authored and launched the second Hanging Out with Wild Animals II. The third part of the series is scheduled for release next year.
