About the Author
Zoya Schmuter, MD was born and educated in the USSR. Emigrating in 1975, she worked as a pathologist in Israel and then moved to the US to work as a medical examiner. She retired in 2008 at the age 70. She published her first book From Russia with Luck in 2007. She currently lives in New York with her husband.
