Graham Gordon Alexander Aguilar has been granted an Amparo by the 27th Federal District Appeals Court by unanimous decision, the Mexican equivalent of a permanent Injunction, allowing the repossession of a beachside property with the assistance of the Mexican Federal, State and City authorities in Tulum, Quintana Roo Mexico. The property is also known as Parayso Beach Hotel and or Villas Alex. The Amparo was issued on Jan. 10, 2019 at 3:10 a.m. Eastern Standard Time with the final sentence to follow shortly.

On June 17, 2016, three hundred men dressed as security guards armed with long knives, poles, and pepper spray made a violent takeover and gained access to over a half a mile of prime beachfront property in the heart of the beach resort town of Tulum, Quintana Roo, Mexico. With the city officials watching and supporting the violent gang, the thugs threw out the rightful business operators, guests, employees and all their belongings were left on the street, or stolen by the gang members. This was all carried out without any notice to the business operators. This occurred during the tenure of Roberto Borge Angulo, the ex-Governor of the State of Quintana Roo, who was caught by Interpol fleeing corruption, money laundering, and embezzlement charges made against him in Mexico. He is currently incarcerated in a Mexican State Prison.  The magnitude of this fraudulent procedure which included 17 hotel businesses owners from the United States, Canada, France, Portugal, Italy, Argentina, and Mexico was in excess of $250 million dollars US Dollars. The group who took Villas Alex has since demolished it in its entirety.

Mr. Alexander is quoted as saying, “We are very pleased with this result; there is much more needed to be done and I thank God for this Victory and Faith in him to put trust in him when you fear the most. I thank my ambassador to Canada, Pierre Alarie, Carlos Joaquin Gonzalez, the governor of Quintana Roo, and my team of outstanding lawyers. I look forward to once again shortly take possession of my land and continue the battle for full compensation of this evil act of violence and aggression.”

Graham Gordon Alexander is a Canadian Mexican Dual nationality citizen, residing in Vancouver, Canada who built Parayso Hotel in 2004 with 24 rooms, 2 restaurants, and 3 commercial stores since 2004.
