District of Columbia, Jan 22, 2019 (Issuewire.com) - U.S. Navy Veteran and Millennial, Joe Collins has decided he will run for President of the United States in 2020 as a Green Party candidate. He says As a Millennial, its time to change the culture of our country. We as Millennials cannot continue to ignore our issues or think that protest alone will solve it. If we want to change, we must be the change we need. This means we as Millennials must run and we must take office. We cannot allow the current establishment to ignore us. We must also move away from the two-party political monopoly. The Democrats and Republicans have taken advantage of this two-party dominant system which makes it hard for good men and women to run for office. The corruption within these two parties run deeper than the ocean. Almost every Democrat and Republican have their own agenda to which none of them involves taking care of the American people. It is extremely hard for me to believe that these politicians can remain in office for as many years as they do and our country still faces the same problems weve had for the last hundred years.
If the definition of insanity is doing the same thing over and over expecting different results, then we are insane to think that continuing to follow ideals and values of the Democratic and Republican political parties that no longer represent our interest will somehow make our country better.
The crisis our nation is facing has proven that the Democrats and Republicans have failed, they failed our country, they have failed the people and they have failed as leaders of the free world.
They have failed to rebuild the countrys Infrastructure; they have failed to switch to renewable and green energy to take the lead on preserving our planet, they have failed the American people by not providing a living wage, better and affordable education, they have left our seniors without hope of a future, they have not strengthened our Military, they have not reformed our criminal justice system and the American economy is going down the toilet.
As a Millennial, I do not believe the future and stability of our nation lies with the Democrats or Republicans. Their failures have not gone unnoticed. As the next Green Party President of the United States, I will ensure that we work together to fix our broken country. I will rebuild our nation and protect our planet. I will spread the message of love and prosperity for all Americans. I will reform our unfair criminal justice system and remedy this homeless problem. We as Millennials and the younger generation of Americans must stand together to be the change that we need! I am charging all young Americans to get on board this campaign and let's bring a change to this world.
America, our time to make a change is now! We CANNOT do this alone we MUST organize, stand up and scream to the mountains, NO MORE!!
