70% of job seekers lose interest in a job if they don't hear back after just one week

Staffing and search firm Addison Group recently surveyed over 1,000 job seekers and found that 70 percent lose interest in a job if they do not hear back from a hiring manager after just one week. Roughly 40 percent said they lose interest if they do hear back in less than a week.
