In a first under new law, a Minnesota home sells with notary watching from afar

A law permitting remote online notarizing in Minnesota took effect Jan. 1. Notarize, in partnership with Redfin and Title One, completed Wednesday what it said was Minnesota's first closing using a remote online notary.
