Poet Celebrates Events of True Love as Religious Events

By: Issuewire

Tucson, Feb 20, 2019 (Issuewire.com) - In his book Loves Liturgy, poet Forrest Ingram encourages couples to celebrate religiously various days to remember the same way that devotees celebrate important liturgical feast days.

Perhaps these poems may stimulate all lovers to treasure their own special feasts and to celebrate them in their own special way, shares Ingram.

His muse and inspiration in this poetry collection is his longtime love and wife, Ann. Their friendship started back when Ingram served as the chairman of the English department and Ann was completing her bachelors degree. It later on blossomed into a romantic affair. They were married for over 30 years and celebrated their love for each other in every way they could until Ann passed away in 2015.

Lots of fun, yet deeply sensitive and sensuous; shows how simple and beautiful love can be if lived; playful yet maturely reflective, focusing on a few sacred moments celebrated year after year by lovers, says Chick, an Amazon reviewer.

Authors Press will showcase Loves Liturgy at the Tucson Festival of Books to be held at the University of Arizona campus this coming March 2-3, 2019. Ingrams book will be exhibited at Authors Press booth number 154.  Readers and festival goers will get an exclusive preview of his work during the festivities.
