“I had lunch with a friend one day that was using some food wraps but they were made out of beeswax. My first thought was that this was an amazing way to be environmentally friendly, but it was at the cost of bees,” says founder and CEO Sothavy Ton on the inspiration behind the project. “I wanted to do something similar but cruelty free and with designs that I would personally wrap my food, while making them gender neutral.”
