American composer Marc Shaiman could become 16th person to achieve EGOT status, earning an Emmy, Grammy, Oscar and Tony, if he wins for either Best Original Score for "Mary Poppins Returns" or Best Original Song for "The Place Where Lost Things Go" at the 2019 Oscars.
