City of Austin: Major League Soccer deal would not be affected by petition

A petition drive was born out of an effort to oppose the city's Major League Soccer stadium deal on public land in North Austin — but city officials said it instead has ramifications for plenty of other agreements and partnerships with the private sector and nonprofits.
