BARKA Foundation Launches Shoe Drive Fundraiser to Raise Money for CLEAN WATER

​In honor of World Water Day 2019, BARKA Foundation (www.barkafoundation.org) is conducting a shoe drive fundraiser to raise funds for clean water in Burkina Faso, West Africa. Through a partnership with Funds2Orgs, a leading creative fundraising social enterprise in the U.S., BARKA Foundation will earn funds based on the total weight of used/gently worn and new shoes collected. Those dollars will support clean water initiatives in schools and communities in Burkina Faso. Anyone can help by donating gently worn, used and new shoes and sending them to the address below.

By donating gently worn, used and new shoes to BARKA’s Shoes 4 H2O campaign, donors can give their shoes a second life and make a difference in people’s lives around the world.

About Funds2Orgs

All donated shoes will be redistributed throughout the Funds2Orgs network of micro-enterprise (small business) partners. Funds2Orgs works with micro-entrepreneurs to help them create, maintain and grow small businesses in developing countries where economic opportunity and jobs are limited. Micro-entrepreneurs use proceeds from the sales of the shoes collected in shoe drive fundraisers to feed, clothe and house their families.
