In making the announcement, Bahamas Destination Wedding’s Resident Wedding Planner and officiant Glenn Ferguson said, “We are delighted to be able to add Nuptial Beach as our newest venue for Nassau Beach weddings given the results of Expedia’s 2014 American Altar Report which showed an overwhelming 43 percent of American Destination wedding Brides desiring to have their wedding on the beach. Asked why Nuptial Beach, Ferguson said that the Expedia Report also showed that Forty-two percent of married Americans, if given the chance for an “I Do-Over,” would choose a destination wedding the second time around. And again referencing to that same report said “Destination brides prefer the beach.”
While Nassau and Paradise Island are home to some of the finest beaches in the world, Ferguson goes on to say that because most are occupied by the major touristic resorts, “they are usually really crowded and not ideal for an intimate wedding ceremony. Nuptial Beach provides a great alternative right on Cable Beach and within twenty minutes of any of the resort including those at Baha Mar and Atlantis on Paradise Island, making it ideal for a beach wedding in Nassau.”
