With major highway work looming, H-E-B may move Southwest Austin store

Big changes are coming to U.S. Highway 290 at The Y — its oft-congested intersection with State Highway 71. That is forcing H-E-B, the region's dominant grocery chain, to rethink the store it has nearby. The company is also investing in store upgrades elsewhere in the metro.
