Edgewater Care Center Hires Darin Price as New Director of Nursing

Edgewater Care Center is pleased to announce the recent hire of Darin Price, who will be overseeing resident the care of every resident as the facility’s Director of Nursing.

Darin obtained his Registered Nurse license in 2016 from Olympic College in Bremerton, Washington. He gained clinical experience at Harrison Medical Hospital in Washington, specifically in the behavioral health, rehabilitation, intensive care unit and progressive care unit. After relocating to San Antonio, Texas in 2017, Darin teamed up with a local hospice company where he led a team of staff as a case manager. “Working in hospice helped broaden my skills and compassion in geriatrics,” says Darin. Utilizing his knowledge from behavioral health, he then accepted a position with the San Antonio State Hospital in the Psychiatric ICU. “Darin is a compassionate healthcare professional and we are all excited he will be leading the clinical team here at Edgewater Care Center,” says Administrator, Patrick Lawrence.

Mr. Price will ensure that all the residents are taken care of and getting the best possible care. Darin says he is looking forward to forming a dynamic team for the benefit of the Kerrville community. He wants Edgewater Care Center to be the place where the community wants to come for recovery and call it home if needed. He believes in teamwork and wants a positive atmosphere for all employees.
