ACLU suing over Iowa's decision to allow restrictions on taxpayer funding of gender surgeries

Iowa was "cruel" and violated its state constitution by allowing government officials to withhold Meidicaid funds for surgeries for individuals with gender dysphora, The American Civil Liberties Union (ACLU) said on Friday.
