Share of Asian, Central American illegal immigrants grows as Mexicans drop from majority

Mexicans stopped representing the majority of unauthorized immigrants in the U.S. in 2017 -- dropping by 2 million since 2007 -- while the proportion of immigrants from Asia and Central America grew.
