53% of LGBTQ employees have faced or witnessed verbal discrimination at work

Glassdoor's 2019 LGBTQ Workplace Survey of 6,104 U.S. adults found that 43% of LGBTQ employees are not fully out at work and nearly half (47%) of LGBTQ employees believe that being out at work could hurt their career including losing a job, not getting a promotion or not getting selected for a project.
