9/11's first responders say House approval of victims' funding bill is 'step in the right direction'

John McClean, a retired New York City firefighter who was among one of the first at the scene on Sept. 11, 2001, and is still suffering from a multitude of illnesses related to the Wolrd Trade Center attacks says he is "hopeful" after receiving news that the House overwhelmingly passed a bill to extend the compensation fund benefiting first responders on Friday.
