NYPD union rips de Blasio over Eric Garner cop case, warns police department is ‘frozen’

The New York Police Department union on Friday tore into Mayor Bill de Blasio over his handling of the case of the police officer charged in the 2014 death of Eric Garner -- accusing him of putting his finger on the scale in the case, and warning that the police department is now “frozen.”
