Letter to the editor: Comparing the current Lambert to its former self is misleading

Comparing Lambert now to the TWA hub era is misleading. TWA’s decision to make Lambert its hub was the result of airline deregulation in 1978 and the industry chaos that ensued in the 1980s and 1990s. The majority of the 20 to 30 million-passenger headcount during those years was connecting traffic between flights.
