The series captures the metamorphic journey of Soto's iconic clay heart sculpture - transformed by artisans into jewelry.
Yohan Rodrigani is a self-taught, American designer and founder of the Yohan Rodrigani brand. Today, Yohan Rodrigani has grown to become a global high-end brand, although it reveres exclusivity. Rodrigani has become increasingly desired amongst famed public figures and athletes due to his limited-edition pieces and personalized service.
Close to Rodrigani's studio lies Wynwood, Miami's renowned art hub. Inspired by the neighborhood's vibrant art and culture, between 2017 - 2019, Rodrigani partnered with distinctive visual artists to create limited-edition art inspired jewelry collections.
In October 2019, Rodrigani released the Bullet Heart pendant, a collaboration inspired by Soto's heart sculpture. Respecting Soto's original hand-crafting skills, Rodrigani combined traditional artistry and technology; making the Bullet Heart pendant a work of wearable art. Rodrigani's interpretation of Soto's Bullet Heart features Argentium Sterling Silver with a recycled brass bullet, engraved "Make Love Not War" in the center.
Rodrigani reveals, "This piece is beyond art and jewelry, it's more about the relationship cultivated in the process. Two different worlds adding value to one another and ultimately, inspiring others. That is the essence of our collaboration."
