Donates $15,000 in Frozen Treats to Frontline Workers
Homewood, May 13, 2020 (Issuewire.com) - Steel City Pops announced in April that we were going to donate $5,000 worth of frozen treat to frontline workers that our fighting the Covid-19 battle. It was our desire to continue our long-standing tradition of being a supporter of our local communities. At this crazy time, our frontline workers needed a small treat to bring smiles to their faces.
Steel City Pops was so amazed at not only how many frontline workers reached out to us but how many individuals nominated workers that deserved a frozen treat that Steel City Pops has elected to continue its donation in May and is now committed to donating $15,000 worth of pops to the frontline workers that continue to fight this battle daily.
Medical professionals are facing unprecedented stress now more than ever as the number of COVID-19 cases in the world continues to soar. As the coronavirus continues to spread and fear mounts amongst our communities, burnout and stress have undoubtedly continued to increase, and are having a significant impact on the mental health and well-being of our frontline workers and their families.
