Trial of Identity English

Toronto, Jun 15, 2020 (Issuewire.com) - Trial of Identity and its sequel Reigns of Utopia was released worldwide in April by Ukiyoto Publishing.

The titles portray the survival of identity through the weightage of choices in a world erupting with chaos as power engulfs humanity, blurring the lines between Hierarchy and Equality.

Through her books, Elsie wishes to break the norms of chasing the ideal society and bridge the gap between humanity and society. The world of books hasn't been the only source of passion, her arts are a beautiful pictorial representation of her writings, bringing the best of both worlds together.

Speaking about Trial of Identity, the plot starts in the year 2154: It had been over a century since the world of Homo-Sapiens had been re-written, and it all began when the illegal scientific organisation who called themselves as - The Cult - broke all rules to experiment on humans and create genetically - enhanced ANTHROMORPHS; who harnessed the traits of the gene of the mammal combined with their human gene, to replace and wipe out the inferior human race cleansed from the face of the planet to witness Evolution.

Naive and isolated, Kate Parker believed that the solution to dealing with all the problems lied by handling them with ignorance. Growing up as the only child of two A-list Hollywood stars, limelight had always enveloped like a glorified prison cell, finding solace in her self-made solitary bubble to cope up with the grief her mother's death.

But life starts putting her identity in Trial, things go whirlwind....

No secret remains hidden forever. As Kate begins her college years along with her childhood friends, the Allyson twins in Vampextiats University, her introduction to Bianthromorph, James Taylor drives her on edge in a never-ending timeline. Even among Anthromorphs, Bianthromorphs were shunned due to their fate of losing their humane mind as their dual animalistic genes overpowered their rationale sanity. Despite their rivalled stubbornness, buried secrets begin unravelling unearthly giving them an unknown sense of belonging, when they bond over redefining the course of Homo Sapiens Anatomy to preserve humanity.

Most Of All, how she was going to handle it when The Cult starts targeting her secret as their key to achieve their Goal? How was she going to discover herself in a world erupting in the chaos which was failing to distinguish between right and wrong? What did the boy who was isolated by everyone have against the girl who isolated herself?

The sequel to Trial of Identity is Reigns of Utopia which has an excellent storyline set in the same scene as well. A plot goes like the one following,

Lost in the crossways of finding their normalcy together, Kate Parker and James Taylor find themselves sinking into the pit roaring the flames giving birth to the rise of chaos that is yet to befall on them.

Secrets soon start unravelling as their freshman year nears to an end, as they find their Bianthromorphic physiologies rapidly progressing, the closer they get to finding the reason behind their selection of being the only two surviving Bianthromorphs, and the person behind it all, using the Samuels brothers as a decoy all along. The more they discover about the Cult, the larger the risks get as they continue rebelling against the chances for joining the hands of their Creator, in the being the prime examples of the specimen ensuring the conquest of mankind in the next forced stage of evolution, to create Utopia.

Life wasn't supposed to be fair and certainly not for this pair, as the doom of uncertainty starts enveloping them and driving their lives further away from the certainty they crave, they discover the shadow holding the Reigns of The Cult, along with known hands of support.

Elsie has a precise concept to create the plots of her stories. A brief interview with her went as the follows,

I. What makes you a human?

Is it your tendency to conquer or is it your mechanism to be guided by a pre-planned lifespan? In the race against time, man's primary goal has become overcoming the parameters of numbers. Humankind is slowly losing its courage to dare to imagine. Imagination made us different from animals. Our Society rules separated us from their Jungle Law. The question is which one was better? There is no rule or law that can hurdle once you begin to truly believe yourself. The difference between right and wrong should be as stark as day and night but in reality, the difference between them is still unknown to mankind. Power can be pleasing alluring and often drives our greed towards towering ambition where the delusion of selfishness blinds the line separating right and wrong. In a world filled with disrespect and hatred, we can only learn to respect others once we prioritise respecting ourselves. People without self-respect tend to have a strong pride and tend to burn down everything in their path when they get a scratch on their pride.

II. MIHI-NITY: (mihi - Latin word for 'me')

Masculinity and Femininity both arose from the Latin words 'masculin' and 'feminin' that roughly translates to man and woman, respectively and most often people fail to understand the true meaning of expression them by either suppressing it or expressing it in a manner that mocks the other.

To address the stigma surrounding the prejudiced masculinity attached only to males and forcing females to solely showcase their femininity. The stereotypical behaviour attributes associated with men and women and talks about the importance of embracing our anima and animus. Society shouldn't map out our personality based on the anatomy difference between the reproductive systems. The anatomy of the Central Nervous System and the Endocrine System are the same then why should our personality's be defined to be differentiated. We should have the choice to be who we are, to be able to accept ourselves.

#mihinity- define our unique, respective and individualistic personality based on our own characteristics.

Learning to understand the gravity of the word 'humanity', embracing both our masculine and feminine sides despite our gender, being comfortable in our skin, being proud to who we are, the way we feel like in our terms, in our lines, in our standards. Accept ourselves whole-heartedly without the guidelines of any external sources. We are the ones who have created the barriers and associate the traits associated with masculinity and femininity, respectively which makes it prominently difficult to identify ourselves. Humans should express both their masculine and feminine sides without any fear and with pride, regardless of their gender and boldly embrace both their anima(hidden feminine) and animus(hidden masculine) instead of letting the orthodox norms suppress their personality and in turn make one lost in the map to their identity. Our reflection is usually the archetype that's been moulded by the society and thereby changes over age meanwhile our shadow is the archetype of our hidden psyche that remains undiscovered until we tap into our 'mihinity'.

So, we stop adapting to survive and start adapting to live. Every personification of a human being's unconscious anima and animus had dual aspects that channeled the prowess of the soul within. The lighter aspect of our animus archetype (conscious reflection) manifests our physical strength to its maximum potential while the anima archetype manifests the development of our will and limits. Meanwhile, the darker aspect of our animus archetype (unconscious shadow) personified the petrification of our conscious mind while the anima archetype amplified the aura of ego to invade our consciousness. The awareness of the manifestation of the anima and animus developments in our personality helps to form a bridge between our conscious reflection, and the unconscious shadow.

Elsie explains the dynamics of her titular characters as,

Despite their hard-headed adamant personalities, they always bring out the best in each other. Although James is the first among the pair to be certain of his feelings for Kate, the people around them including those who didn't know either one of them often assumed that the pair were together even when they weren't, according to Tommy their stability is so natural that, it's no wonder to mistake them as a domestic couple who have known each other forever. They work well together in sync, often citing it as the reason to be around each other as an excuse in the beginning. Even when things get tense between them, they don't hesitate to be there for each other never letting their disputes get in the way, proving their unwavering support for each other being the most important priority in their relationship from the beginning, seeking the best for the other. Even when James isn't aware of Kate's change of mind to not just look for an antidote for only the humans related to her or her closed ones and let the Cult have their way of wiping the other humans from the face of the planet and choose to not let the same hatred that keeps thriving due to the chaos cost innocent lives and continue the cycle of pain, he doesn't have any second thoughts to be by her side with whatever she decides, showcasing his faith in her, knowing that she would always look for the choice to save lives as her first instinct, over any other choice. They act as each other's calming anchor, with Kate breaking all barriers to push his buttons to stop him from his unconscious path towards his self-destructive ways when he is at the barrel of his temper. During their first encounters, James often does the same to her, resulting her to shut down even further, but as they spend more time together, he is shown to always assure her to handle her grief in her own time and unlike others who fear that her prolonged grief will destroy her, he believes that anyone else in her shoes doesn't have the right to define her pain for they aren't her. For this reason, he often cites her as one of the strongest people he has ever known and understands the last thing she wants is someone driving away from her pains for her but rather someone being by her side through her battle. They have balanced chemistry even during combats never getting in each other's way and checking up on the other's state mid-fight when things start to get dire. Like Kate, who gets highly aggravated whenever anyone hurts or judges James for being a bianthromorph, when the former's identity is revealed and she makes no efforts to hide her identity any longer, he is shown to be equally hostile to people who dare to harm her for being a bianthromorph.

James gifts her the ruby-pendant that is shaped as the red-moon, on her birthday as an indication of his faith and promise to be together to conquer their uncertain forthcoming circumstances, because to him, them together was his 'certainty' from the fated lunar eclipse. Kate defined that, 'certainty' by proving that his hidden guilt masked by his lack of fear towards death will continue to be the pacemaker to his doom conjured by the force against them until he starts believing in his future that can exist outside the norm forced upon him by the Council. He frequently jokes that she resembles a puffer-fish when she cries, in contrast to her sharp features as an attempt to catch her off-guard, though he rarely gets flustered he does get taken aback whenever she does something unexpected. James openly states his distaste towards the projected eye-colour through Kate's buhel glasses, feeling more at ease to look at her natural golden-amber irises instead. Although Kate hates speaking about movies due to her painful memories of the industry ruining her Parents' privacy and stories that always threatened their reputations, she warms up to comparing the ideals of reel life having the possibilities of occurring in real life with James. Though he never directly states that he is her mate, he doesn't conceal his confirmation about his feelings when asked about it, claiming that, their bond, trust and sense of belonging around each other is far stronger than the wolf anthromorphic definition of 'mate' and more along the lines of 'home', which is clearly proven even in the lucid dreams during his 'change' where the memories associated with her signify his acceptance to happiness and harmony.

Both the titles were in such demand that they were translated to German, French, Spanish and Danish later on.
