Journalist, Eunice Elliott leaves news desk to become a stand-up comedian and write books that promote empathy, inclusion, and empowerment.

Birmingham, Aug 2, 2020 (Issuewire.com) - Eunice Elliott has always been one to tell a story.  After several years as a news anchor, she  decided to leave the news desk earlier this year in order to tell transformative stories for young people and adults.

Eunice has authored TWO books; a children's book series, "Sugar Loves Bella" based on her two dogs and "10 Things Your Mama Never Told You, But Mine Did", a collection of unconventional wisdom to navigate life's challenges.

"I felt like my voice could be better used if I was talking about the things that matter most to me.  Themes of love, empathy, inclusion, and empowerment instead of all of the worst things in the world."

Eunice is also a stand-comedian who has had to get creative in terms of performing due to CoVid19.  She offers her comedic musings via her social media platforms, Zoom as well as through her podcast, "Oh No, Girl Yes", where she shares her tales of dating unsuccessfully.

Eunice can be booked for virtual/in-person (local to Birmingham, Tuscaloosa, Huntsville, Montgomery, AL) interviews to share her unique take on the world in these unique and challenging times.
