Paul Cerjan Joins Agility DGS

Agility Defense & Government Services (DGS) announced today that retired Army Lt. Gen. Paul Cerjan has joined the company as president for Europe/Middle East/Africa.

Cerjan, based in Kuwait, will have responsibility for Agility DGSs Prime Vendor contract, under which it supplies most of the food for U.S. troops in Iraq and Kuwait.

Cerjan also will manage the companys CENTCOM/EUCOM/AFRICOM and NATO contracts and oversee its business with various European ministries of defense. Agility DGSs GCC Services and Threat Management Group units will report to Cerjan, who will sit on the Agility DGS board of directors.

Before joining Agility DGS, Cerjan held senior management positions at L-3 Government Services, KBR, Loral and Lockheed Martin.

Paul brings deep defense and government contracting expertise. Hes an experienced leader when it comes to project management, technology, acquisition, operations and personnel management, said retired Army Maj. Gen. Dan Mongeon, president and CEO of Agility DGS.

Cerjan served for 34 years in the Army, holding command and senior staff positions with seven different divisions. He was deputy commander in chief, U.S. Army, Europe and Seventh Army, as well as commander, 21st Theater Army Area Command in Kaiserslautern, Germany. He served two tours in Vietnam.

He is past president of Regent University and National Defense University and former CEO of the National Defense University Foundation. He served as commandant of the U.S. Army War College.

Cerjan graduated from the U.S. Military Academy and holds a masters in civil engineering from Oklahoma State University. He attended the U.S. Army War College and the U.S. Army Command and General Staff College. He completed the Senior Government Leaders Program at Harvard University.
