Constant Aviation, LLC. a Nextant Aerospace company located at Cleveland Hopkins International Airport, announced today that it has received an FAA Certified Repair Station Class 4 rating. This rating now authorizes Constant to work on all metal constructed aircraft over 12,500 lbs. Only 2% of all repair stations worldwide have been awarded a Class 4 rating and this is the first ever in the State of Ohio.
In addition to the new Class 4 rating Constant also holds Airframe Class 3 and Radio Class 1,2,3 ratings making Constant one of only 42 Repair Stations to hold both Class 3 and Class 4 ratings, with the majority being manufactures.
As an Embraer Authorized Service Center, Constant has been involved with the EMB-135 product line since 1998 serving both Legacy and corporate shuttle operators. “We were the first Authorized Service Center to complete a 48 month inspection on a Legacy 600 and the first company to remove and replace a complete Legacy 600 wing assembly and three EMB-135 nose sections,” said Stephen Maiden, VP of Operations.
To date Constant has completed thirteen 48 month or equivalent inspections and has logged over 750,000 maintenance hours on the EMB-135 platform. Constant provides maintenance service and support for the majority of the US registered Embraer Legacy fleet.
