H.B. Fuller Names Barry S. Snyder as Chief Technology Officer

H.B. Fuller Company (NYSE: FUL) announced today that Barry S. Snyder will join the company as chief technology officer on Oct. 27, 2008. Snyder, 45, of Bryn Mawr, Penn., comes to H.B. Fuller from Celanese Corporation, where he has served as global technology director for the emulsions/PVOH business unit since 2007. Prior to his time with Celanese, Snyder spent 16 years with Rohm and Haas Company, in a variety of technical, marketing and commercial management positions. These included research strategic planning, and leadership responsibilities in the areas of pressure sensitive adhesives, packaging and converting adhesives, and transportation adhesives. He also held global assignments based in London and Paris. Snyder earned a bachelors and masters degree in chemistry from Emory University, both completed in 1983, a doctoral degree in inorganic chemistry from Harvard University, and a masters in business administration from Temple University.
