Fans of Naples, Florida Based Alt Pop/Rock Band Phoenix Block Create a Sensation with MySpace and YouTube Videos Blending Images of Barack Obama and Their #14 FMQB AC40 Hit

Election Day is less than a month away, and that means one thingas Americans, our future is calling! And like in 2000 and 2004, Floridas shaping up to be a major battleground state that could tilt the resultsstarting with the fans of Naples based alt pop/rockers Phoenix Block (www.phoenixblock.com).

These Sunshine staters are already in the spirit, looking ahead to brighter days by creating two provocative MySpace and YouTube videos that combine dramatic photos and video images of Senator Barack Obama with their powerful anthem Future Calling, the first single from the bands critically acclaimed debut album Chemtrails.

Even before the projects release, fans posted the first of these clips on MySpace; it quickly rose on the charts and reached #1 for several weeks. It was also featured on Fox News as one of MySpaces top political videos and for a time was deemed as Obamas unofficial campaign song.

The second video, a hypnotic montage blending exciting images of the band and romantic overtures with video of memorable moments from Obamas acceptance speech at the Democratic Convention and callbacks to his phrase Enough, is getting widespread media attention since its recent posting on YouTube.

Were really excited when our songs strike a chord with fans and inspire them to get creative like this, says Phoenix Block lead vocalist Andre Jaffe. Its cool that Future Calling has drawn so many of them to get involved in the election process no matter who they are voting for. We love the way these videos turned out and hope they can make people think about their hopes and dreams for America as we move forward.

Future Calling is currently at #14 with a bullet on the FMQB AC40 chart, heading towards the upper reaches of the charts, just behind top artists Goo Goo Dolls, Jason Mraz, Daughtry, John Mellencamp, Sara Bareilles and 2008 American Idol runner-up David Archuleta.
