Research and Markets: New Report "Technology Reformation Report of China Stock Listed Companies; Q1-Q3 2008" Collected the Information of More Than 40,000 Investment Projects

Research and Markets (http://www.researchandmarkets.com/research/bc77c7/technology_reforma) has announced the addition of the "Technology Reformation Report of China Stock Listed Companies, Q1-Q3 2008" report to their offering.

During January to September 2008, 52 technology reformation projects were released by stock listed companies in China, among which 50 projects had revealed their investment value (The total investment value was RMB 24.82 billion, up 7.9% compared to the same period of 2007).

However, the number of technology reformation projects declined. Except for Central China falling by 30.8%, the other regions had all declined by more than 70%. South China and the Northeast had declined by 85% and 81.8% respectively. East China, the most active region of technology reformation in the past, also declined by 77%.

During the first three quarters in 2008, Hunan Province had the most of seven technology reformation projects with a total investment value of RMB 10.21 billion; the average investment value of those seven projects was RMB 1.46 billion. Followed by the province of Guangdong, Yunnan, Shandong and Chongqing, they all had a total investment value of over RMB one billion.

According to the sector, the steel industry, non-ferrous metal smelting industry and auto industry were all in the top three regarding investment value.
