Blake Myers Joins Amherst Securities Group as a Mortgage-Backed Securities Salesperson

Amherst Securities Group, L.P., a broker-dealer specializing in residential mortgage-backed securities (RMBS), announced today that Blake Myers has joined the company as a salesperson. Mr. Myers, who is based in Amherst’s New York City office, previously worked at UBS Securities, where he was one of the investment bank’s leading MBS salespeople.

Mr. Myers brings 16 years of experience in the bond business to Amherst. While at UBS, Mr. Myers managed a sales team that worked with clients in various sectors, including insurance companies, money managers and hedge funds. Prior to working at UBS, Mr. Myers held a similar role at JPMorgan from 2000 until 2003. From 1993 until 2000, he was an MBS salesman at Nomura Securities.

Mr. Myers Blake graduated from DePauw University in Indiana in 1986 with a B.A. in Physics and holds an MBA from The Darden School at the University of Virginia, where he graduated in 1993 with a concentration in Finance.
