Alcatel-Lucent, Qwest gain; Ciena falls

WASHINGTON (MarketWatch) - Alcatel-Lucent surged after a pair of brokerage upgrades and Qwest Communications International Inc. rose sharply Friday to highlight action in the telecommunications sector.
