Tessitura Network Announces NO Dues Increase for 8th Straight Year

The Tessitura Network® announces that 2009 fully bundled membership fees will once again remain unchanged. The Network is the exclusive developer and licensor of Tessitura Software®. Tessitura Software has been leading the arts and cultural enterprise software industry since licensing began in 2001. Over 275 Theatres, Performing Arts Centers, Museums, Symphony Orchestras, Ballet Companies, Operas, Festivals and Arts Consortiums deploy Tessitura Software. Initially developed by the Metropolitan Opera for its own use in 1998, Tessitura Software now powers small, medium and large arts and cultural organizations in six countries with ticketing, fundraising, marketing, CRM and advanced reporting capabilities. Each Tessitura license holder also receives a powerful web application program interface (API) which enables comprehensive real-time internet transaction capability for ticket selling, donations, memberships, select-your-own-seats, and much more via the license holder website. Consumers are not pushed off to a separate web purchase screen with high transaction fees as typically occurs for organizations that use Ticketmaster® or other such services for their internet sales. In keeping with the Network not-for-profit business model, the Network charges NO transaction fees for any internet transactions.

Tessitura Network member organizations pay annual dues based on their size. Dues cover 24x7 support, yearly upgrades to the software, interfaces to aligned products and services, documentation, e-learning programs, several dozen webinars per year and participation in extensive Network Community activities. T-Stats™, Business Intelligence at the Speed of Thought, is a sophisticated data mining tool that complements and enhances the extensive Tessitura Software reporting and query capabilities. Access to T-Stats is included with the Tessitura license at no additional charge.

N-SCAN™ is a cost effective venue access control and patron tracking system. It was written from the ground up to interact exclusively with Tessitura Software. As its core function, N-Scan allows barcode scanning of “print-at-home” or regular tickets using a variety of Symbol™ handheld devices and updates the Tessitura database in real-time over wireless networks. Utilization of this service enables improved customer service and reduces costs of the order fulfillment process. RADR™ (Remote Access Disaster Recovery) provides a disaster recovery option for those license holders of Tessitura Software who are looking for alternatives. This service provides a "warm" backup deployment option via a secure data center to not only backup their data but to also have their users up and running in a matter of hours via PCs accessing the database over the internet in the event of a crisis.

TN Express Web Ticketing™ is a new offering that provides functionality for ticketing, account management, and donation processing in a standard purchase path product via the license holder website that can typically be fully operational in 2-3 weeks. Options for either “best seating” or a rich select-your-own-seat capability are available. The list of features is comprehensive. This product, including hosting, is offered for an affordable monthly service fee.
