Japan plans tenfold boost for emergency loan program: report

The Japanese government and ruling parties are finalizing plans for a tenfold increase in funding for the Development Bank of Japan's emergency lending program, from 1 trillion yen ($10.2 billion) to more than 10 trillion yen, to meet a flood of demand, according to a published report.
