Dan Champeau Rejoins Fitch as Managing Director, Head of Business Dev. for US Public Fin & GIG

Fitch Ratings announced today that Dan Champeau has rejoined the firm as Managing Director, Head of Business Development for both the U.S. Public Finance Group and the Global Infrastructure and Project Finance Group (GIG) - Americas. In this capacity, Mr. Champeau has responsibility for the business activities of these two groups, including relationship management and strategy responsibilities for investors, issuers, investment bankers and financial advisors. He will report to Peter Jordan, Group Managing Director, Head of Global Business Development.

Mr. Champeau joins Fitch from Financial Security Assurance (FSA), where he worked in the Infrastructure Finance Group - Americas. Prior to joining FSA in 2007, Dan worked at Fitch Ratings for 13 years where he held various senior positions including heading the New York Public Finance office and the Global Infrastructure and Project Finance Group - Americas.

Mr. Champeau has more than 17 years' experience in the bond industry and earned a BA from the University of Maryland at College Park, attended Fordham University's Graduate School of Business, and holds an MBA from San Francisco State University.
