New Weekly Talk Show, "Choose Surthrival" Shares Ways Families Can Go from Surviving to Thriving

The Prime Time Health Talk TV and Radio Series today announced the addition of the much-anticipated new program in the Friday series slot. "Choose Surthrival: Go from Surviving to Thriving in the 21st Century" will be co-hosted by three working mothers in different stages of life. Kim Power Stilson, SiriusXM talk show host and author of the book "Choose Surthrival," has 3 teenagers; Krista Anderson, home-based business expert, has eight kids ranging in ages; and Babs Rossberg, entrepreneur and clean and storable food expert, is a grandmother. The show also features segment hosts, author, and noted food expert, Steve Shenk and Scott Anderson.

Inspired by the quote from Maya Angelou, "My mission in life is not merely to survive, but to thrive; and to do so with some passion, some compassion, some humor, and some style", the new show will dig into issues relevant for today's families and will strive to help families not only to survive but to learn to thrive with knowledge from those who are succeeding now. Weekly guests will engage with hosts in discussions on a variety of topics such as getting families back to the dinner table; social, emergency, and education issues; healthy foods; helping kids to detach from their electronics and reattach to families; and more.

The live "Choose Surthrival" Talk Show will air every Friday at 5 pm Mountain Time on syndicated sites such as KHQN 1480 AM, Utah Valley Live, UStream, Planetary Streams and will be available on the Facebook site for the show.

As an award-winning talk show host, Power Mom, and author of "Choose Surthrival" (available on Amazon in September), Kim Power Stilson has given an eMedia, PR, and Radio voice to thousands of small and women-owned businesses over the last decade. She is excited about the show and her new co-hosts because she thinks they have something essential to share.

"For many year listeners have said that they are tired of just surviving. Here on this new show we promise fresh inspiration and solid solutions for thriving as we interview guests and share healthy topics and fun stories from people who have learned how to enjoy life," says Kim Power Stilson, co- host. "The 'Choose Surthrival' show gets in-depth and interesting with guests who will share something you may not know about topics that add the 'thrive' to life."

Babs Rossberg, thirty-year food veteran, and entrepreneur of two successful businesses says that her weekly segment "Babs' Food for Thought" will share recipes and food advice.

"Food is not only my business, it is my passion," says Babs Rossberg. "Each week I will share food tips, recipes, cost-saving and easy-to-make meals that will help you serve the freshest, cleanest and most delicious foods for your families."

Krista Anderson, successful home-based business owner for 15 years, says she wants to tackle challenges presented by today's eMedia society as well as share solutions for families who want to work from home in this challenging economy.

"It is easy to thrive in today's economy when you know how to run a home-based business," said Krista Anderson. "Watch the show to meet people who have found ways to move beyond mere survival to success every Friday on 'Choose Surthrival'."

Sponsored by GOFoods Global, a company that serves easy-to-fix, clean gourmet meals in bags that store for up to 25 years, the weekly show themes include: "Babs' Food for Thought", "To Eat or Not to Eat?", "Dinner Table Challenge!', "21st Century Home-based Business," "Surthrival Solutions," "Power Mom Tips," and "Magnetic Giving."

Steve Shenk, feature host and guest expert will join the show to share food solutions in the "To eat or Not to Eat?" segment and Scott Anderson will join the show with a "Surthrival Solutions" report from people across the nation.
