The new system platform features a Linux operating system, an open source SQL compliant database, Java, and a cross-platform user interface (UI). This platform allows CPSI to provide its customers with an extensive range of capabilities to enhance IT operations and implement other new complementary technologies such as rules-based customization and access from iOS, Android, Windows, Mac and Linux-based devices. In fact, with the Version 18 release, the CPSI System is now iPad compatible and CPSI’s physician applications already incorporate rules-based customization, providing a user experience that meets the unique needs of each individual physician. The SQL compliant database allows CPSI clients to efficiently mine the mass of clinical data now being captured by their EMR system to meet both their internal demands and regulatory and interoperability requirements as well. As part of CPSI’s standard enhancement process, all existing CPSI customers have been and will continue to receive the SQL compliant database at no additional cost.
The new logo is a reflection of both the continual advancement in system technology reflective of the CPSI EMR system and the Company’s broadened identity as a leading services provider to rural and community hospitals.
