CN says rail traffic controllers in Canada ratify new collective agreement

MONTREAL, May 28, 2012 /PRNewswire/ - CN (TSX: CNR) (NYSE: CNI) announced today that members of the Teamsters Canada Rail Conference-Rail Canada Traffic Controllers (TCRC-RCTC) have ratified a new collective agreement covering approximately 210 train dispatchers in Canada.

The three-year contract, retroactive to Jan. 1, 2012, provides wage increases along with standard benefit improvements to the TCRC-RCTC members at CN.

Keith Creel, executive vice-president and chief operating officer, said: "CN welcomes ratification of this new collective agreement by the TCRC-RCTC. This agreement, reached without third-party assistance, demonstrates the strong working relationship we have developed with the TCRC."
