Item 8.01. Other Events.
On December 3, 2004, Ventas, Inc. (the “Company”) announced that its Board of Directors declared a regular quarterly dividend of $0.325 per share, payable in cash on January 13, 2005 to stockholders of record on January 3, 2005. The dividend is the fourth quarterly installment of the Company’s $1.30 per share 2004 annual dividend.
A copy of the press release issued by the Company on December 3, 2004 is filed herewith as Exhibit 99.1 and incorporated in this Item 8.01 by reference.
