Gerard M. Anderson, DTE Energy Company (DTE Energy) President and Chief Operating Officer,
will provide a business update at the 42nd Annual Edison Electric Institute Financial
Conference at approximately 9:45 a.m. EST November 6, 2007. Mr. Anderson, as well as other
representatives of DTE Energy, will be meeting with individual groups of investors during the
conference, which begins on November 5, 2007. A copy of the slide presentation is furnished as
Exhibit 99.1 to this report and incorporated herein by reference.
