Scottsdale Community Partners (SCP), an organization in Scottsdale, AZ, that runs numerous programs to help the youth, families, and seniors in the community. They would like to announce that November 28, 2017 is known as "Giving Tuesday" and people have the opportunity to donate to Scottsdale Community Partners as a way to support their vital work. Donations can be made through the organization's website.

Jenny Adams, Executive Director of Scottsdale Community Partners, says: "We are committed to helping our residents in times of crisis, and it is our mission to completely knock out hunger and homelessness in Scottsdale, all of which is possible through the monetary and in-kind donations of our loyal supporters."

The various programs of the organization have made a real difference in the lives of the people within the Scottsdale community. These include Back to School and a Healthy Packs Program for youths. For families, SCP offers Adopt A Family, Emergency Assistance, Empty Bowls, P.E.T. (Pets Eat Too), and the Vista del Camino Food Bank. Meanwhile, for seniors, they offer Adopt A Senior, Beat the Heat, and the Brown Bag program. To run all these important and popular programs, the organization would like to emphasize that they rely on donations.

Holly Snopko, President of Scottsdale Community Partners, says: "A $50 donation allows us to purchase 25lbs of food for families in our programs and feeds 10 children over the weekend. A $100 donation gives 5 seniors and 5 disabled adults groceries for a week. A $250 donation sponsors 2 youths in our Back to School Program and 2 seniors in our Adopt a Senior Programs. And a $500 donation sponsors 4 families for the holidays in our Adopt a Family Program. Any donation you can make will be gladly accepted and put to very good use."

Giving Tuesday is an opportunity for people to extend a hand of kindness to those less fortunate. It is a popular yearly drive, and one that many people participate in. Those who are still unsure about whom to donate to, therefore, are encouraged to consider Scottsdale Community Partners. They are also always looking for volunteers to help facilitate the many SCP programs.
