Draghi likely ECB chief after endorsements

Bank of Italy Governor Mario Draghi is seen as increasingly likely to succeed Jean-Claude Trichet as president of the European Central Bank after gaining the backing of French President Nicolas Sarkozy. German Chancellor Angela Merkel has yet to weigh in.
