I have come to Tallahassee with many of my colleagues and with those in the medical industry to inform lawmakers of the damaging effects these changes will have on their constituents.” Walsh continued with, “If these bills are made into law it will not take long for the thousands of Floridians injured every year to be left in economic disaster, unable to both pay for the medical treatment needed to fully recover from serious injuries, and unable to get the longterm care needed by doctors because of the uncertainty of payment for doctors as a result of the proposed changes.”
