A new Android App gives users the ability to see cash in the air through augmented reality, walk, drive, run, or ride a goat to get to near the cash point and then collect the cash which is then deposited into the users paypal account.
PRLog - Jun. 5, 2014 - Before there were anonymous envelopes of cash showing up in places around the US, a small company was already working on a way to create a sustainable method by which to offer every-day people some SpareCash.
"Maybe it will help someone pay for school, or pay the rent that month, whatever they use the cash for, is up to them! But more importanly is the fact that this system is sustainable, unlike good people just putting money in envelopes," Dale Marion, the creator of SpareCash said.
Enter, SpareCash App. this is an Android application that you open on your smartphone and it literally shows you money markers in Augmented Reality, There are thousands of markers already waiting to be collected throught the US and Canada, as well as numerous countries around the world.
I downloaded the app and saw 6 locations in my area, went to theclosest one which was 32km outside toronto and took a bit of a hike. But within an hour I hav $50 in my paypal account. Not bad for an hour long trek. Some of the markers I passed had values of 10 and 5 dollars, but since I could only collect 1 that day (according to my user account) I kept looking for the biggest one I could find.
This has to be the most incredible app on the PlayStore ever. it's not something you just play once in a while it's something you keep on playing and wait for notifications from the owners on where new sites are coming.
