PRLog - April 9, 2015 - DEARBORN, Mich. -- The Success Builders Network will be hosting the Success Builders Conference & Book Exchange on Thursday, April 16th from 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. at the Fairlane Club in Dearborn.  This 8th annual event sponsored by Downriver Community Federal Credit Union is designed to help people get the support, inspiration, and resources they need to achieve great things in their business and their community.  One of the highlights of this year’s event is the Business Book Exchange where attendees can bring a favorite business book and, after networking throughout the day with other participants, can leave with another book that can help them grow their business.

Attendees will experience workshops that will help them get motivated (“Millionaire Mindset: Climbing to Your Sweet Spot”), improve their usage of social media (“Five Steps to LinkedIn Mastery” and “Turning Clicks into Clients”), increase their networking skills (“10 Commandments of a Networking Event”), and become better sales and service professionals (“Your Authentic Close Formula”).

The Success Builders Conference is made up of outstanding speakers who all live in Southeastern Michigan and are leaders in their community.  Although all of the speakers are from this area, many of them are in demand all across the country on their particular area of expertise.  Speakers include Glenn McIntosh (Human Performance Expert and Founder of The A Game Movement), Terry Bean (Author, Inspirational Speaker, and Founder of Motor City Connect and 313DLove), Lisa Mininni (Best Selling Author, Business Systems Expert, and President of Excellerate Associates), and other local and nationally-recognized speakers.

“This conference is all about helping people get the tools that they need to build a successful business,” says Mark Tremper, the Vice-President of Marketing for Downriver Community Federal Credit Union and Founder of the Success Builders Network.  “Our objective is to help our local business community by providing events like this in a collaborative effort with other business and community organizations.”

The first conference was held on February 13, 2008 and was co-sponsored by the Downriver Community Federal Credit Union and the Downriver and Detroit Business Association.  It was called the Downriver Small Business Conference and Expo and was started as a way to provide business-growth oriented workshops and help business owners promote their business to the local community.

Sponsors of this year’s conference include Downriver Community Federal Credit Union, International Bancard, The A-Game Movement, KSP Insurance, Bizarre Marketing, and Henry Ford Village.  The conference is also held in partnership with a variety of business organizations including the Downriver and Detroit Business Association, the Dearborn Area Chamber of Commerce, and the Southern Wayne County Regional Chamber.  Sponsors and partners of the event will have display tables at the conference to provide additional information about their products and services and to interact with the attendees.
