Trina Solar (NYSE: TSL) received the Innovation Award for its Duo-Max module at the Mexico International Renewable Energy Conference.
On the downside
Xunlei (Nasdaq: XNET) reported a loss for the first quarter as revenue fell.
Open Text (Nasdaq: OTEX) announced that president and chief executive Mark J. Barrenechea will resume full involvement in day-to-day operations of the company and that the company will restructure its business to support its Cloud strategy.
Bruker (Nasdaq: BRKR) chief financial officer Charles F. Wagner, Jr. resigned.
In the broad market, advancing issues outpaced decliners by a margin of more than 7 to 5 on the NYSE and by nearly 10 to 9 on Nasdaq. The broader S&P 500 rose 5 points to 2131. Bitcoin added $2 to $236.
