Public Service Commission of D.C. rejected a merger application for
Pepco Holdings Inc. (NYSE: POM) to combine with Exelon Corp. (NYSE: EXC). Shares of Pepco plunged $4.24 to $22.71 while Exelon stock dropped $1.32 to $31.32.
