THE SME Show 2015 Set To Adopt Increased ASEAN Outlook In View Of AEC

By: Get News
The SME Show is seeking an increased regional perspective with the imminent launch of the ASEAN Economic Community at the end of 2015.

The SME Show is back with a greater regional focus that aims at addressing the strategic needs of small and medium enterprises (SMEs) entering the ASEAN Economic Community (AEC) market that will be launched at the end of 2015. As a one-stop marketplace for SME essentials, this year’s exhibition will be held at the Mid Valley Exhibition Centre in Kuala Lumpur from 4 to 6 December 2015.

Endorsed by Malaysia External Trade Development Corporation (MATRADE), the SME Show 2015 is organized by Business Media International, the publishers of SME Magazine, and will showcase a sampling of opportunities available within Southeast Asia, made available through the collaboration with regional Trade Missions and Chambers of Commerce. With the event embracing a tagline of “Your Regional Currency to AEC”, participants will discover ready-made business connections that can help kick-start their efforts to go regional.

This year’s edition of the show also plays host to some of the most recognizable Malaysian and regional names in franchising.  Aspiring franchisees will benefit from the “The Annual Franchising & Licensing Guide” that will be made available during the show as well as get the chance to learn tried and tested business ideas by networking with successful franchisors when they drop by at the show’s “Franchise Isle”.

Available at the same venue is the SME CEO Forum that will take place on 4 December 2015.  As a forum that is exclusive to entrepreneurs, CEOs, directors & C-Level Executives of SMEs with a turnover of above RM1 million, attendees will be inspired with real-live stories and practical business tips.

Attendees will also enjoy further daily doses of inspiration and business intelligence.  Day 2 offers insights from women leaders across many fields who will share their ideas on how every woman can make a difference while Day 3 is a must for owners of SMEs who wish to hear first-hand business opportunity information by national representatives from the various ASEAN member nations.

These various thematic zones shows adds further credence as to why the SME Show is being billed a leading event for SMEs in Malaysia and Southeast Asia.
