Interfin's Vintage Park Nearly 50 Percent Committed

The Interfin Companies LP, the Houston-based real estate developer and creator of landmark projects such as Uptown Park, announced that its new, European-style outdoor shopping village, Vintage Park, is about 50 percent committed. Vintage Park, which was recognized by the Houston Business Journals 2008 Landmark Awards as the retail project of the year, is located on the Northwest side of Houston on Louetta Road and Highway 249.

The entire brokerage community has been incredibly supportive and enthusiastic about this project, which has led to the rapid leasing of Vintage Park, said Giorgio Borlenghi, President of Interfin Companies. With several merchants already open and many building out their spaces, we look forward to celebrating Vintage Parks grand opening in the fall.

The design, layout and size of Vintage Park are attractive and weve been very successful at this new location, said Alan Murphy, owner of Alan Murphy Salon. We have been able to retain clients from our previous location in the Champions area because it is only three miles away.

Vintage Park is the new major shopping center in the Northwest area and its location has given us better exposure, added Ben Baker, Imagination Toys & Shoes. The day we opened here we tripled our business and made record sales.

In addition to Alan Murphy Salon and Imagination Toys & Shoes, merchants already open at Vintage Park include All About Feet, Amegy Bank, HEB Vintage Market, LandAmerica Commonwealth Title, Potbelly Sandwich Works, Starbucks and Trustmark Bank. Coming soon to Vintage Park are retailers eminence fine furniture and Texas Floors; dining venues Brix Wine Cellars, Cheeburger Cheeburger, Fish City Grill, Mia Bella, Peli Peli and Shogun; and service retailers Advanced Wireless, Bank of Texas, Compass Bank, Heritage Texas Properties, James H. Clarke, D.D.S., Kickerillo Companies, Pepper-Lawson Construction, Smile Makers, Venetian Nail Spa and Vintage Wellness & Aesthetic Center.

Developed on 84 acres, Vintage Park features 324,000 square-feet of retail space, 24,000 square feet of office space and an 112,000-square-foot HEB Vintage Market. The upscale-lifestyle shopping centers stunning design is reminiscent of an Italian shopping promenade with hand-laid pavers creating a cobblestone street effect, stucco and stone-column walkways, clay tile roofs and mosaic ornamental details. The Piazza, the central core of Vintage Park, features a series of fountains and gardens surrounded by restaurants and arched porticos.

Vintage Park is the retail portion of a 630-acre master-planned community known as The Vintage. The land was acquired from Hewlett-Packard in partnership among the Interfin Companies, Kickerillo Companies, Mischer Investments, Perrin White and James Hill. The Vintage features high-end residential neighborhoods, apartments, townhomes, office, medical and retail space. For more information on Vintage Park visit www.vintageparkhouston.com.
